The Book Museum is an amazing museum, where books in Persian, Kazakh, ancient Turkic and, of course, Russian are collected, books with autographs of the authors of Kazakhstan, old printed and ancient handwritten books on parchment, many interesting photos. The museum has more than 20 thousand books that tell about the history of the development of writing in Kazakhstan, as well as printing — up to its modern technologies.
Special attention should be paid to the thematic panel that decorates the interior decor of the museum walls. The museum is located in a building built in 1936 (previously it housed the People’s Commissariat of Grain Industry, later-agriculture, food).
